Alte Post in Waldshut-Tiengen

It looks dark from outside. So beautiful inside. Friendly atmosphere. Good service. Unfortunately only Taek awai for a month.

The staff is super friendly! The food was very good (had pizza and pasta). The portion was ok. Very nice atmosphere and despite the full restaurant (lunchtime) it went really quickly!

Unfriendly

The food was delicious, but the portions weren't too big, if you had ordered the advertised half portion it would have been very little. The ambience is great and the service was very nice. The prices are okay ... although I find almost 5 euros for a bottle of water cheeky.

5 stars for the "Alte Post"! The restaurant is centrally located on the promenade of Waldshut-Tiengen. The ambience is pleasant and the service is friendly, attentive, courteous and quick. The dishes themselves are great too. A great garnish and a reasonable price-performance ratio convince here. Only the toilet is somewhat hidden and moderately illuminated. But overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Super Pizza🍀

Absolute in love with Walshut. We came 250 km to spend a nice day here. Alte Post used to be, when Herr Villani was the boss, the best italian restaurant in the area. Today, on a bad inspiration moment, we decided to check in what used to be Alte Post Restqurant. We are very sorry to say that it was one of the worse culinary experiences ever. The food has absolute no taste, no flavour what so ever, and possibly not fresh as 3 adults are sick since eating there today afternoon. What this restaurant used to be ....is long gone! We will not eat here again!.

Quick stop for a dessert, I can only review for the dessert and the service. Good service, fast and efficient, friendly waiters. We had CILIEGIE CALDE CON PANN (Warm cherry with vanilla ice cream and cream and TRAMONTO (orange juice with vanilla ice cream and cassis). These two desserts were really good and flavorful, this is also something new for us.

Very friendly reception. The interior felt a bit cold. Pizzas were tasty. Also no problem to warm up the baby's food. It was a bit fresh inside.

Food is OK, nothing exceptional though. Staff is very unfriendly, I didn't feel welcome. I had to ask three times to get an espresso after lunch. I won't come back here.
